Application for Delayed School Enrollment

With this application, your child can start school one year later.

There are several steps to apply for delayed school enrollment.

• Ask the Kita for the "Fachliche Stellungnahme der Kindertagesstätte zur Vorlage bei der Schulaufsicht" (Professional Statement from the Daycare Center for Submission to the School Supervisory Authority).

• Register your child for the school medical examination and fill out "Form 109" together with the doctor.

• Submit the form during school registration. You will receive the decision by post.
• Extend the Kitagutschein (daycare voucher) with the Jugendamt (Youth Welfare Office).
