What is that?
A Partnerschaftserklärung (partnership declaration) is a document. With it, you confirm that you live in a partnership with another person.
Sometimes an authority requires this document. For example, when you submit an application and need to show that you live together.
Where can I get it?
You usually receive the form from the authority where you are submitting an application. For example, from the Wohnungsamt (Housing Office) or Jobcenter. How does it look?
The partnership declaration is a form with fields for personal information. Both partners enter their names and addresses and sign the document.
