What is that?

Volkshochschulen are schools where everyone in Berlin can learn. You can continue your personal education there or learn languages.

The courses are usually very affordable and sometimes even free.

What are the authority's responsibilities?

There are many different courses, for example:

  • political or cultural education

This is the right place for everyone aged 15 and older.

Where can I find the authority?

Every district in Berlin has its own Volkshochschule (adult education center). You can also register at a Volkshochschule in another district.
