At a vocational school, you learn content knowledge that directly relates to your recognized skilled occupation. In addition to vocational school, you will also complete an apprenticeship in an organization. This form of apprenticeship is also called dual or company-based vocational training.
In Berlin, many vocational schools are called Oberstufenzentrum (OSZ), i.e. upper secondary vocational centers.
