A Partnerschaftserklärung (partnership declaration) is a document. You use it to confirm that you live in a partnership with another person.
Sometimes an authority requires this document. For example, you may need it when you submit an application and have to show that you live together.
You usually receive the form from the authority where you are submitting an application. For example, from the Wohnungsamt (Housing Office) or Jobcenter. You can often also download it online from the authority’s website. The Partnerschaftserklärung is a form with fields for personal information. Both partners enter their names and addresses and sign the document.
