At a Berufsfachschule (full-time vocational school), you train for a specific profession. You usually attend school full time.
You take classes in subjects related to your chosen profession and often in general subjects as well. You learn basic skills, methods, and theory. You may also complete school assignments in groups or do internships.
At the end of your program, you receive a certificate. Depending on the program, this certificate may also qualify you for a recognized vocational qualification.
