Kontaktverbot (no-contact order)

A Kontaktverbot (no-contact order) means that a person is not allowed to contact you. This can include:

  • meeting you in person
  • calling you
  • sending you emails

A Kontaktverbot is meant to protect people. The police or a court can order someone not to contact you.

If you are in danger or someone violates the no-contact order, call the police at 110 in an emergency.
