What is that?

The youth employment agencies are a point of contact for young people. They help you to find an apprenticeship, a job or a suitable path after graduating from school.

What are the authority's responsibilities?

The Berlin Youth Counseling Agency will help you find an apprenticeship or a job, so that you can actively participate in working life.
The agency can:

  • clarify your goals and prospects with you,
  • make you a suitable offer, for example for an apprenticeship, retraining or further vocational training, and
  • support you until you have successfully completed your apprenticeship.

You've come to the right place if you are between 15 and 25 years old and need support getting started in the world of work.

Each district in Berlin has its own youth employment agency. The agency responsible for you depends on your situation: if you attend school, it is the district where your school is located; if you do not attend school, it is the district where you live.
